Therapist by trade. adventurer by choice.
If you're anything like me you believe that the quality of life is greatly enhanced by experiences and relationships, not things and prestige. The greatest shifts, in my opinion, is having a different response to situations, and people, that encourages a better experience for us.
A meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect. It is about being real, being humble and being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others.
Each of us experience a meaningful life quite differently. For some, like myself, having a sense of a meaningful, intentional and connected existence is imperative. Sometimes we just a need a guide, a good idea or to simply do something different. What’s the Experience you want to create in your life?
We can wake up. We can create a more authentic life experience. We can bring great vision to dream a life into being we only dare to dream of. We can integrate effective strategies for sustainable change in our lives.
We don’t have to live in pain body and struggle with the same repetitive issues holding us back. There are choices for alternative treatment options that utilize the best of what technology and complementary healthcare has to offer. There are unique ways to participate in a personal growth process individually or in community that better suits who you are.
This is the kind of unique change process that I hope to inspire in my clients, whether they work with me in a retreat, in a group program or 1:1 in my practice in Cody, WY or Hawaii. We can thrive, not just survive. Let me guide you through a sustainable change and healing process.

People crave comfort, people crave connection, and people crave community.
It all started when…
I was called back to Hawaii in 2016 after many moons. Inspired to bring back the “Aloha” to Cody, Wyoming, the Lokahi Wellness Center was birthed. It is my greatest hope to bring the Mana of the Hawaii into all healing practices and modalities that I guide to shift the frequency in health and wellness on the Aina (spiritual land) of the Island, Cody and collectively.
As the Aloha Lokahi Retreats is expanding with different adventures, teachers, and offerings it’s all about shifting our personal frequency by tuning into a truly dynamic vacation experience. My work of many years with many people and many stories instructs all the different ways that I guide people in their own personal process.
With a background in therapeutic recreation, years as a psychotherapist, seasoned traveler and spiritual seeker I am ready to help you synthesize a unique personal process that will shift your consciousness. Are you ready to say yes?
If it’s time for you to do something different, and you don’t live in Cody, come work with me one on one in a personal online coaching process. Or join me for an Aloha Lokahi adventure with the ohana in Kona. Stay tuned as new adventures and journeys are being rolled out for February, 2020!
The Meaning of Aloha
Hawaiʻi Law of The Aloha Spirit
§ 5-7.5 "Aloha Spirit". (a) "Aloha Spirit" is the coordination of mind and heart within each person. It brings each person to the self. Each person must think and emote good feelings to others. In the contemplation and presence of the life force, "Aloha", the following unuhi laulā loa may be used:
"Akahai", meaning kindness to be expressed with tenderness;
"Lōkahi", meaning unity, to be expressed with harmony;
"ʻOluʻolu" meaning agreeable, to be expressed with pleasantness;
"Haʻahaʻa", meaning humility, to be expressed with modesty;
"Ahonui", meaning patience, to be expressed with perseverance.
These are traits of character that express the charm, warmth and sincerity of Hawaii's people. It was the working philosophy of native Hawaiians and was presented as a gift to the people of Hawaiʻi. ''Aloha'' is more than a word of greeting or farewell or a salutation. ''Aloha'' means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. "Aloha" is the essence of relationships in which each person is important to every other person for collective existence. ''Aloha'' means to hear what is not said, to see what cannot be seen and to know the unknowable.
