Therapist by trade. adventurer by choice.
If you're anything like me, then you believe the quality of our life on earth is greatly enhanced by experiences and not just things. The greatest shifts, in my opinion, is when we are having a different response and experience with situations that are still exactly the same as they ever were.
A meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect. It is about being real, being humble and being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others.
Each of us experience a meaningful life quite differently. For some, like myself, having a sense of a meaningful and intentional existence is imperative. How to help people do that intentionally and clearly is what I think of as being a big part of my work.
In my therapy work this is an issue that arises for many of my clients. I love working in a more existential and flexible space with others. The activating process of self inquiry and active healing can help a person change their waking state of reality. Simply put; we wake up. We can create a more authentic vision to integrate effective strategies for intentional change in our lives.
This is the kind of experience I bring to my clients whether they work with me in a retreat, in a group program or in a 1:1 setting in my practice in Cody, WY. I love helping others make the deeper connections with themselves so their relationships can thrive.

The Meaning of Aloha
Hawaiʻi Law of The Aloha Spirit
§ 5-7.5 "Aloha Spirit". (a) "Aloha Spirit" is the coordination of mind and heart within each person. It brings each person to the self. Each person must think and emote good feelings to others. In the contemplation and presence of the life force, "Aloha", the following unuhi laulā loa may be used:
"Akahai", meaning kindness to be expressed with tenderness;
"Lōkahi", meaning unity, to be expressed with harmony;
"ʻOluʻolu" meaning agreeable, to be expressed with pleasantness;
"Haʻahaʻa", meaning humility, to be expressed with modesty;
"Ahonui", meaning patience, to be expressed with perseverance.
These are traits of character that express the charm, warmth and sincerity of Hawaii's people. It was the working philosophy of native Hawaiians and was presented as a gift to the people of Hawaiʻi. ''Aloha'' is more than a word of greeting or farewell or a salutation. ''Aloha'' means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. "Aloha" is the essence of relationships in which each person is important to every other person for collective existence. ''Aloha'' means to hear what is not said, to see what cannot be seen and to know the unknowable.
It all started when…
I was called back to Hawaii after many moons. Inspired to bring back the “Aloha” to Cody, Wyoming, the Lokahi Wellness Center was birthed. It’s my greatest hope to bring back the Mana of the island to shift the frequency in health and wellness throughout the Big Horn Basin. Stay tuned as more healing modalities are shared by teachers showing up to share their magic and mana monthly.
